Elk River Parks & Recreation has a great club for girls grades 3-6.

Girl power is a national public education campaign sponsored by the Department of Health & Human Services to help encourage and enable girls to make the most of their lives.  Some of the topics covered will be self- motivation, integrity and responsiblity.  Each time we get together you will learn new skills leading you down exciting paths and towards a brilliant future.  You will meet new friends while sharing experiences that will last a lifetime.  Your potential is endless!  Each month participants will learn about a new Girl Power topic and start on thier journey to earning a sefl-esteem medal.  Fee includes program supplies, outing fees and dance.  For more information on girl power you can visit their website at www.girlpower.gov
